Let’s see if I can remember what all happened this week. Thankfully I keep a journal so whenever I can’t remember I look back through it.
So Monday we had dinner with the Bronco’s (name changed) and they’re a great family, but just tad unusual. The Bronco’s have their daughter living with them and their daughter has two children around the ages of 10 and 8. So dinner finishes and I start sharing a spiritual thought and I use a poem from the talk “The touch of the masters hand.” Right as I finish the poem the little red headed 10 year old girl starts bawling. I thought she had hurt herself or something but the Bronco’s reassured me that she was just feeling the spirit. So now Elder Walker always teases me about making little kids cry. Ha
The rest of the week was just great, except for Thursday. Thursday was just slow and depressing, not a lot happened. But other than that day this week was awesome. We found 2 new investigators tracting that we are excited about.
So yesterday was the last day of the month and we had used all 1750 miles. So thankfully our Ward mission leader is awesome and drove us to a couple appointments and the members were also great about taking us places, so we actually didn’t do as much walking as I thought we were going to have to do.
Elder Walker and I got our much needed hair cuts today. We also got a call today from an older sister in our Ward and she is taking us to Walmart today to shop. The members in this Ward spoil us, they really do, we love them. Missionary work is so much better when you and the Ward work closely together. This area has taught me how to better involve the Ward in missionary work.
Have a great week love y’all a lot.
