Hey!
Okay before I left Smithville on Thursday our days were packed full of lessons and goodbyes. The day before transfers we had like five people give us cookies and treats for us and our new companions. So much fun!
Then we show up for transfers and I am going to Chillicothe. Its in the middle of no where. It’s in the Far West zone and Hauns Mill is in our branch boundary. We’re going out to visit it sometime.
So I remember you telling me about Joseph Smith’s descendants and how they came to Mendon and did a fireside. Well he and his mom are in our branch. He is the first member of Joseph Smith’s ancestors to serve a full time mission. So that’s cool. Lots of history here and it’s almost like I am living in the history.
Oh my birthday we did service at the senior center here in town. We just started doing that and lots of old people asking questions, it’s awesome. Katie one of our investigators told us about service there. While we were there, this one lady asked us if we could do some service for her too…putting up a fence for her cows. So we ended up doing that right after for like 5 hours. I got chased by this momma cow with horns. That was scary. Haha.
So the church building is small and there were about 35 people there this week. Interesting people. This guy who was giving a talk got all nervous at the end turned around and said sorry president and ended his talk like 15 minutes early. So sacrament ended early. Curious to see how fast Sunday’s are!
Anyways got to go love ya!

My dearest friend lived in Chillicothe growing up and I visited there many many times. Chillicothe use to be in our stake.
